Two workers engaged in beltway construction lost their lives due to the collapse of heavy construction equipment in the Suruç (Pirsus) distict of the city of Urfa (Riha) in Turkey.
İhsan Arslan and Semih Kaçmaz lost their lives whilst working for Xezalan-Pirsus beltroad construction. Another person was reportedly injured.
The bodies of the workers have been moved to the public hospital’s mortuary in Suruç (Pirsus).
The prosecutor’s office has begun an investigation into the incident.
