The vigil against the Sinjar agreement, which aims to remove the will of the people of Sinjar, continues.
Sinjar’s Yazidi community insists on preserving its democratic rights and keeping its autonomous structure. In response to the agreement signed between the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, which severely limits the Asayish public order forces, people have made their feelings known through marches and actions.
The vigil has continued for more than forty days in front of Sinjar Asayish Centre with the motto “We are all Asayish”.
Visitors said they supported the resistance, adding that they would carry on their actions until their demands are met.
