Two medical staff were injured under Turkey’s shelling of northern Syria’s Kobane (Kobanê) on Wednesday, Hawar News reported.
Following the bombing of a square in the southeastern part of the city, an ambulance rushed to the scene, only to be targeted by subsequent attacks.
The injured medical staff, aged 25 and 30, who were inside the ambulance, were taken to a hospital in the region. Both individuals sustained shrapnel wounds in their legs and are currently in stable condition, a medical source told North Press agency.
Furthermore, a paint production facility suffered material damage during the shelling.
Turkish airstrikes on Kurdish-led areas in Syria have escalated recently, with reports indicating that residential areas and civilian structures are frequently targeted.
In June, several civilian’s sustained casualties as Turkish forces bombed a hospital in Tal Rifaat (Til Rifat), located in Syria’s western al-Shahba (Shehba) region.
