After all the suffering in World War II, America and Europe have compromised to protect human values. These fundamental principles include the recognition of the right of peoples to determine their own future, protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms that have been framed by the Universal Declaration of human rights by the United Nations (UN).
And also the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, (NATO) is supposedly a guarantor of sustaining peace.
But all is created by humans and ultimately, the values are also a created by humans.
Like everything else, it depends on time and space that can also be destroyed or changed over time.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, these values were no longer needed and were put aside by their creators.
For example, the hate crimes that are being carried out by the Turkish President against the Kurds is most certainly a definition of a crime by Western values.
Kurds are under arrest, their democratically elected representatives are in prison. Turkey explicitly commits crimes, of genocide, against Kurds. This is not an exaggeration. According to the UN, genocide is not just the physical destruction of a people or a group as a whole, but by removing people from their homeland it is also considered genocide and also destroying a species in nature or a structure created by human hands can also be defined as a genocide under certain circumstances.
The Turkish state have destroyed 4 thousand Kurdish settlements in the 90’s. More recently they have destroyed Cizre (Cizire), Şırnak (Şırnex) and other Kurdish cities targeting historical temples and structures.
According to Western values, it was a genocide.
I can be more specific for those who still do not want to understand: Sur was an ancient symbol in the middle of Diyarbakır (Amed), but the dominant Turkish-ISIS ideology destroyed that priceless historical and cultural asset in the eyes of the West.
It is the West that created the Islamic State of Iraq-Syria (ISIS), with the name Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi itself. They enhanced the jihadist groups with fuel-dollars in order to overthrow the fascist baathist regime in Syria. Their arms are of western production. They gave the role to the Turkish state as their “central logistics base”. They collected and transferred from Afghanistan, Chechnya and China’s Uyghur province and barracked in Turkish camps.
After journalist Can Dündar published photos of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s shipment of weapons to Syria, he narrowly escaped from the country to save his life.
Over time, the monster like Saddam got out of control and the rope was pulled.
It is interesting! Baghdadi, similar monster was found and killed in a palace in Idlib, at the Turkish border and near the Turkish military base.
After Trump thanked Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his contributions perhaps Erdogan was now annointed the new Baghdadi? Not known yet.
However Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took this legacy as the unnamed “Caliph”.
He gave support to the murderers of Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He paid them and established an army similar to the Ottoman’s army. Thereafter, his first target was the parts of Kurdistan. In exchange for billions of dollars, he gained Putin’s support. Afterwards, the head-cutting jihadist groups, behind the Turkish army, started to assault of Rojava together with ISIS partnership. Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced from their homes.
This was not the fault of the Kurds, but it was the burial of the so called superior values of Westerners.
All this happened three years ago. Hundreds of thousands of Kurds expelled to make a place for the beheading murderers.
The Afrin Human Rights Institution published the report recently. In summary, the report stated as follows:
“Turkey put forward ISIS on the ground. They launched air strikes with 72 war planes. It was a bloody destruction, it lasted 58 days. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) resisted unprecedentedly, but they could not prevent the attacks due to the air strikes. 400 thousand jihadists were placed in the region.
Education in Kurdish language was banned whilst education in Arabic and Turkish languages were adopted in the schools of the besieged Kurdish towns in Syria.
In the meantime, attacks began targeting the local people. 943 people were killed, countless people were abducted, 76 of them were executed. 35 women were abducted in 2020. 67 women including children with disabilities, were raped. 450 thousand trees were cut.”
”Dr. Frankenstein” is a classic of Western literature. El Baghdadi and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are also among the latest political classics. And the two represent a black spot on the “humanitarian values”.
