The sit-in protest in Strasbourg in France, which has been organised within the scope of the ‘End Isolation, Fascism, Occupation; Time for Freedom’ initiative, has entered its fifth day. The initiative had been launched by the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council on 12 September.
Protests calling for the ”Freedom of Öcalan” have been taking place for the past nine years in Strasbourg. Representatives of social movements and organisations from Turkey and the Middle East joined the sit-in protest that is taking place in front of the Council of Europe building.
