Emine Şenyaşar lost her husband and two sons as a result of an armed attack by the bodyguards and relatives of the Justice and Development Party’s (AKP’s) Urfa (Riha) deputy, İbrahim Halil Yıldız.
From 9 March, Emine and her son, Ferit Şenyaşar, held a sit-in vigil protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse. However, due to the new Covid-19 lockdowns introduced in Turkey, the Şenyaşar family now continues their protest at home.
As their protest reaches its 55th day, the family shared a picture of the ambulance that was attacked when their relatives were murdered.
Hast.ambulansı bu duruma getiriliyorsa; hastanenin içini kimse düşünmek istemez.
Babam ayakları ile hastaneye gidiyor. Linç ederek öldürüyorlar.
Üç yıl geçiyor.
Hâlâ tek tutuklu yok.

“If they have done this to an ambulance that belongs to the hospital, imagine what they could have done within the hospital. My father went to that hospital with his feet. They killed him by torturing and lynching. Three years have passed. No one has been imprisoned What is the Minister of JUSTICE doing?” stated Ferit Senyasar in his message.
