Nine years have passed since the massacre however no one has been tried or held accountable for the massacre.

Families of people who lost their lives have been demanding justice for 9 years.

Hamza Encu’s mother Kadriye Encu is one of them

“A person can never forget these days ” she says and continues

“Let pain fall to their homes 34 times. They do not have any right to do that to us. They were all studying in school, they ripped their bodies into pieces.”
