Şanaz İbrahim Ahmed, a senior member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Turkish MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder, describing him as a principled advocate of dialogue and peaceful solutions.
In a condolence message, Ahmed said Önder’s commitment to justice and peace left a lasting impression. Reflecting on her final meeting with him in Sulaymaniyah this February, she noted his sincerity and the enduring value of his ideas.
She extended condolences to Önder’s family, friends and political community.
