Speaking to Hawar News Agency, the Kurdish people living in the northeastern Syria called upon the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) to halt the military shipment it employs in the North and East Syria.
KDP reportedly continues to send military shipment to the North and East borderline of Syria. Other claims are that the KDP sent heavy weapons nearby the Fişxabûr region and built 40 new military bases in the region.
Citizens living in northeastern Syria shared their concerns regarding the issue.
Ziyor Eli, a resident of the Amûdê town, said, “All Kurdistan parties should act based on the national benefits of the Kurds. All parties should work for the national unity to be achieved. The KDP should not act according to the will of the Turkish state, but it should consider the will of the Kurdish people.”
“This attitude of the KDP causes the Turkish state’s invasion to expand the Kurdistan territories. The KDP should give up these policies,” Selim Hero from Amûdê town stated.
Another Kurdish citizen of Syria, Abdulwehab Xalid Hisên from Tirbespiyê town, said, “We have sacrificed a lot for the unity of the Kurdish people. However what we see today is that the KDP acts in opposite of our efforts as it moves together with the Turkish state, rather than the Kurds.”
