According to the latest figures released by the Diyarbakır Health Platform, 915 healthcare workers, including nurses and midwives, have tested positive for coronavirus in Turkey’s southeastern Diyarbakır (Amed) province as of 7 October.
According to Diyarbakır Health Platform’s data shared with the tag “#Rapor Covid-19” on social media, the highest incidence of the disease has been recorded amongst dentists and midwives. Twelve healthcare workers have reportedly died.
