Turkey continues its attacks against northeastern Syria despite the presence of the ceasefire’s international guarantors in the region. The villages of Al-Shashahat, Arba’a Kilo, Awn Al-Daddat, Arab Hassan and Umm Addas, and Al-Jat are the most targeted places in Manbij.
The Manbij Military Council Press Centre confirmed that the military operations of Turkey have increased since the establishment of the new base in the village of Umm Rutha al-Fawqan.
The official spokesman for the Manbij Military Council (MMC), Şervan Derwiş, spoke to Hawar News about Turkey’s latest attacks and its mercenaries in the region.
“They are attacking our people in the northwest of Manbij and trying to occupy our villages”, he said, adding that Turkey is trying to create conflict on all fronts.
Derwiş stressed that Turkey and its mercenaries are violating the rights of citizens and also the agreements made about the region. “Manbij Military Council fighters continue to defend their areas and people”, he said.
