Sources close to senior officials of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party have said that the party is looking for ways to increase support among Kurds, especially pious voters, ahead of the elections.
Meral Akşener, leader of Turkey’s nationalist Good Party, has said she has no objection to the allied opposition parties engaging in dialogue with the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party.
Amnesty International has reported that the Syrian government and Turkish-backed factions have blocked over 100 trucks carrying aid to two areas in Aleppo province that were hit by the earthquakes on 6 February.
