“Let Her Sing.” concerts set to broadcast next Saturday in California.

Diaspora Arts Connection (DAC), based in the state of California in the USA, prepares to broadcast the “Let Her Sing” concerts.

International women voices will come together in “Let Her Sing” concerts to reflect the singer’s own language and culture. The concerts will take place online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Let Her Sing: A Celebration of Female Voices” is an event that aims to allow female artists from all over the world to come on stage, celebrating their ability to perform freely.

Every year the DAC organises the concerts in celebration and support of female voices, suppressed and censored in different parts of the world.

Evin Şah will represent Kurdish music in this year’s “Let Her Sing” concerts, Mai Khoi will represent Vietnamese music, Naima Shalhoub will give voice to her Lebanese Arab culture and Mahsa Vahdat from Iran will sing her songs dedicated to freedom of expression.

The concert will be broadcast online next Saturday, 16 January, at 07:00pm Pacific Standard Time (PST). The tickets may be bought online via this link.
