The Kurdistan Democratic Party’s (KDP) efforts to encircle the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) continue in Iraqi Kurdistan.
According to Rojnews, the KDP closed the roads of 53 villages in the Bradost region of Hewler.
The KDP has reportedly placed Helgurt Command forces to control the village roads.
Villagers were warned by soldiers that their transportation was blocked. Some of villages include Bêrkim, Deraw, Sinîn, Berbizin, Mêrgereş, Bêrkim and Navdaruk which are a part of Sidekan town.
These closures have caused difficulties for villagers, who earn their livelihood via husbandary and agriculture.
