The HDP (People’s Democratic Party) launches its latest campaign ‘Justice for All’ with the participation of its members in Ankara today Mon 8th February 2021.
According to Yeni Yaşam’s report, in the meeting that HDP’s political solutions for the ongoing problems of Turkey will be declared, co-chairs of the party, Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar are expected to speak. The meeting will be held in the general party building of HDP in Ankara and many people are expected, which includes all HDP’s constituent representatives, Peoples’ Democratic Congress (HDK) Co-Spokespersons and Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chairs, as well as Kurdish politicians, intellectuals, writers, academics, artists and journalists, political party representatives, civil society and Labour organisations representatives.
HDP Deputy Co-Chair for the organising committee, Alican Önlü says that the ‘Justice for All’ campaign is a continuation of the party’s ‘Democratic Struggle Program’. He describes the current situation in Turkey and the goals of the campaign as follows:
“As we enter the new year, there is a big injustice in the country which is the source of all problems. Kurds, Alevis, women, nature, and 90 percent of the society is living under these unjust conditions. That’s why we say ‘Justice for All’. 2021 will also be the year of building justice. We start the process of building justice with this campaign” he says.
