Four workers lost their lives and two were injured in an accident while travelling from Makhmour Refugee Camp to Baghdad.
According to Mesopotamia Agency’s report, the vehicle carrying workers to Baghdad was in an accident between the districts of Şirkat and Beci.
Deniz Xelîl, Mehmud Sîso Tahir, Hogir Musa Yusuf and Cîhat Mihemed Hecî Mihê lost their lives in the accident, while Ferhat Xelîl Deniz and Serbest Nazmî Zîyav were injured.
Due to the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) embargo on Makhmour Camp, workers have to go to other cities such as Baghdad, Kirkuk, Selahaddin to work and earn a living.
