Deputy Director of the Central Anatolian High School in Cizre sent sexual messages to more than 30 students and commited serious sexual assault.
The case of the deputy director of the school, B.E., was heard at the Criminal Court of First Instance.
For the prosecution, the student’s lawyers said that the sexual harrassment and messages of the deputy director were non stop and targeted up to 30 students, so asked that the court to take into account the successive nature of the crimes.
Lawyers also said that the Criminal Court of First Instance should also rule on a “lack of jurisdiction” of the court, taking into account the minumum limits of the penalty of the crime that the court can apply and requested that the file to be sent to the Heavy Penal Court.
The court agreed and gave a decision of “lack of jurisdiction”. Now the case will be heard at the Cizre High Criminal Court.
