📍 The US President Joe Biden has stood aside in his re-election campaign in a shock move, as his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan appears to welcome rival Donald Trump’s push for the White House.
📍 Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Commander Mazlum Abdi has called for dialogue with Erdoğan’s Turkey, on the 12th anniversary of the Rojava revolution.
📍 Hundreds gathered in Istanbul’s Kadıköy district on Saturday 20 July to commemorate the ninth anniversary of the massacre in which 33 people, mainly young socialists, were killed by an ISIS bomb attack in Suruç, Şanlıurfa province.
📍 And the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the UN’s top court, has weighed in on the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, deeming it to be illegal.
