🔸 The claimed downing of another Turkish drone by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), follows the group’s prior claim to advanced tactical and technical means, challenging Turkish aerial supremacy and potentially altering dynamics in the prolonged Turkey-PKK conflict.
🔸 Turkey’s pro-Kurdish People’s Equality and Democracy Party (DEM) Party, has launched a massive campaign against the government’s recent appointment of a trustee in Hakkari (Colemêrg), replacing the democratically elected mayor, and protesting the state trustee practice implemented in Kurdish cities.
🔸 In other news from Turkey, a delegation from the Council of Europe, led by Stefan Shennach, discussed pressing human rights issues with Kurdish MPs from the DEM Party.
🔸 The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria have marked a significant success in efforts to rebuild infrastructure in former ISIS stronghold Raqqa, with the completion of works on the Al-Rashid Bridge.
