The project, which will open Salda Lake to construction, has been approved by the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning.

Ecologists criticize this claiming, “For Salda Lake to be protected, it must be kept away from mass tourism. However, current plans are for more structuring of this area.”
Salda Lake is in the Yeşilova district of Burdur and with a depth of about 185 meters; it is the deepest lake in Turkey and the second deepest lake in the world.
Lake is home for sea dragons and 110 types of birds and famous for the white beach and clear water.
