Arîn Fexrî Muslim, a 37 year old woman and mother of two children was abducted in the Turkish occupied province Afrin on Tuesday, reported Hawar News.
Muslim, living in the Şîtka village of the Mabeta district of Afrin was abducted at a check point operated by Turkish controlled forces, at the entrance to Afrin.
There has not been any news from the 37 year old mother since the abduction.
Afrin has been occupied since 2018 by Turkey and controlled by Turkey and Turkish-backed forces.
Independent researcher Meghan Bodette is carrying out a project named “The Missing Afrin Women” which includes a website with an interactive map, a list of the names of the individuals, the date and the location of the incidents. The interactive map shows the last known location of each missing woman, their pictures and other details.
Bodette has collected data from local media agencies and human rights groups and has documented over 150 cases of missing women.
