A vigil has been launched in Germany to protest the isolation imposed on Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The vigil was organised in Hannover by the Democratic Kurdish Community Centre of Germany (NAV-DEM) and will last for five days.
Several demonstrations and events will also be held alongside the vigil.
Speeches criticised the unlawfulness of the heavy isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan.
