Eleven people – including students and activists – were detained in eastern Kurdistan (Rojhilatê Kürdistan) by Iranian regime forces, Hawar News Agency has reported.
According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, eleven people were detained in the cities of Karaj, Mahabad, Rabat and Marivan in Iran. The names of the detained are: Ferzad Silêman, Suheyb Badruc, Şepol Xizrî, Derya Talebanî, Selar Rehuî, Sîrwan Nurî, Efşîn Mam Ehmedî, Behman Yusif Zade, Ferhad Musapur, Ferîdun Musapur and Dana Semedî. The whereabouts of those detained remains ‘unknown’ as the Iranian authorities have not yet issued any official statement about the detentions.
