The Aryen Art Academy, based in Turkey’s Van (Wan) province, has organised a four-day festival to raise funds for the victims of the recent earthquakes.
The festival kicked off on Friday evening with a concert at the ŞanoWan stage and will span four days of music performances. The opening act featured the traditional kilams (Kurdish songs) of the Dengê Meyman group, followed by a performance by Wan Aryen Kom. The group Koma Sorjiyan performed a concert on Friday night. The final act, “Colemêrg Collective,” will close the event on Monday. All proceeds from the festival will be donated to support those affected by the earthquake.
