Van (Wan) Metropolitan Municipality has opened Kent Lokantası, a new low-cost restaurant in Beşyol Park, Rêya Armûşê district, Turkey. The restaurant offers three different dishes every day for 70 Turkish Liras, with the menu changing daily. It will be open from 12:00 to 17:00 every day.
The opening ceremony was attended by the co-mayors of the Van Metropolitan Municipality, the heads of the district municipalities and a large number of local residents.
Speaking at the event, Co-Mayor Neslihan Şedal highlighted the municipality’s ongoing efforts to address challenges posed by the economic crisis. “We are committed to implementing projects that will alleviate the difficulties faced by our residents. Despite the obstacles created by the local authorities, we will continue our efforts to address the needs and concerns of our community,” Şedal said.
Co-Mayor Abdullah Zeydan also addressed the gathering, acknowledging the limitations of the municipality but expressing optimism for the future. “Our resources are limited, but we have a lot of work ahead of us. We plan to launch several new initiatives in the coming months. Together we will overcome these difficult times. We will support our students and stand by them,” Zeydan said.
