Rojava University in North and East Syria and the sociology department of Binghamton University in New York have formalised an academic partnership, marking a significant step in bolstering academic and scientific relations between the two institutions. The agreement covers a range of collaborative activities, including joint research projects, academic publications and student exchanges.
The agreement was announced on Rojava University’s official social media account and outlines six key points of collaboration. These include joint research projects in areas of mutual interest, the exchange of academic publications and reports, and the organisation of symposiums, panel discussions, and conferences. Additionally, the agreement facilitates the sharing of expertise in modern teaching methods and the organisation of seminars.
