Three civilians were wounded in a Turkish unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack that targeted the village of Boskênî, in Iraqi Kurdistan’s Sulaymaniyah (Silêmanî) on Monday afternoon, Rojnews reported. The village centre was hit, causing substantial material damage to homes and shops.
Boskênî is located in the Kurdish-majority region of Ranya, part of the Raperin Administration of Sulaymaniyah. Local village administrator Serhed Resul confirmed to Rojnews that the bombardment injured three residents, two of whom were labourers. The casualties have been rushed to hospital, Ranya’s Health General Director Ferman Ahmet confirmed.
