The Turkish armed forces used a drone to target a house in Kobani, a city in northeast Syria, on Saturday afternoon, ANHA reports.
The attack happened at around 4 p.m. Following the incident, officials of the Euphrates Regional administration of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said that two people had lost their lives and seven were wounded. The injured were treated in hospital.
The statement of the Euphrates Regional officials included the following words:
“The targeting [of this house] is part of a series of terrorist offensives carried out by the Turkish occupationist state and its mercenaries benefiting from the silence of the ceasefire guarantor countries. We hold the Global Coalition and the Russian Federation accountable for the Turkish offensive on the regions of northeast Syria.”
On 23 October, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that a further three of its members had lost their lives in yet another attack by Turkey on Kobani, and on 20 October, a Turkish drone targeted a car carrying an AANES official, in which two people died.
