The operations launched by Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) guerrillas in Iraqi Kurdistan have continued since 23 April.
As clashes in the Avashin, Zap and Metina regions of the Qandil Mountains, known as the Medya Defence Zones, continue between the Turkish Armed Forces and Kurdish fighters, Kurds in Europe took to the streets to protest Turkey’s operations against the PKK.
Protests were held in various cities of France, including Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille and Toulouse.
