Turkey’s attacks on Muelek Village near Ain Issa located near the M4 international highway continue. Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are resisting against the attacks. As SDF commander stated that they were ready for all possible attacks, the people of Ain Issa called upon Russia and the international coalition to fulfil their responsibilities.
Ziyad Heleb, one of SDF commanders, said that their self-defense continued and that they were ready to repel the attacks.
The commander said that Turkey had increased its attacks and was targeting civilian people. There have been heavy bombardment against civilians living in Ain Issa in recent days. Turkey was trying to displace residents by indiscriminately bombing the area with artillery shells.
Heleb also said that they had learned lessons from the previous military attacks of Grê Spi and Serekaniye, and also stated that they were ready for any such attack.
Commander Heleb also called Russia and the International Coalation to fulfil their responsibilities. Unfortunately, Russian and international coalition forces have thus far not fulfilled their responsibilities against the attacks he said
As well as the SDF, the people of Ain Issa also resist Turkey’s attacks.
Thousands protested against the attacks. Protesters walked to the Russian military base, calling on Russia and the international coalition to take action to halt the attacks.
