On Wednesday, Turkish armed forces have launced a series of new miliary operations around Mount Qertewîn located in the rural areas of Patnos and Tutak districts in Turkey’s eastern city of Muş, according to MA.
Today the operations continue with heavy clashes between Kurdish fighters of the People’s Defence Forces (HPG), an armed wing of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the Turkish soldiers on the rural areas surrounding the Kurtulmuşoğlu (Selekutlo) village.
MA reports that some HPG fighters have lost their lives during the clashes and their identities remain unknown.
An HPG fighter has been reportedly detained while wounded. Locals report that announcments were read outloud from the mosque in the village for the villagers to stay home.
It was also learned that some regions have been bombed by the armed drones of the Turkish army.
