The search for Gülistan Doku that had been terminated in Turkey, has resumed. Gülistan Doku is a university student who has been missing since 5 January.
However, Dersim Women’s Platform has expressed the view that the search for her by the waters of the dam is not working and a real search for her has not been adequately undertaken. Dersim Women’s Platform asserts that: “They are trying to make it look like Gülistan committed suicide”.
