As political prisoners entered the 25th day of their hunger strike, launched on November 27 against the isolation imposed upon the Kurdish leader, Abdullah Öcalan campaigns were launched on social media.
Many users on Twitter have began using the hashtag #SayınÖcalan since it was launched on Twitter last night, and have demanded an end to the isolation imposed on the imprisoned PKK Leader.
The ‘Freedom for Öcalan Campaign’ initiated by intellectuals and academics from Europe also continues. Activists, associations and organisations from all around the world have expressed their solidarity with the campaign.
The latest expressions of support demanding the freedom of Öcalan have included campaigns, meetings and marches that have also been held in many European cities.
