People of Kurdistan and their allies took to the streets in Europe to protest the isolation of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan. They also called for the demands of the political prisoners who are on a hunger strike to be met.
On the 42nd anniversary of the Maraş Massacre and the 19 December 2000 Prison Massacre, protestors drew attention to the oppressive politics of Turkey and commemorated those who had lost their lives.
