As clashes continue between Kurdish fighters and Turkish Armed Forces after the military operation launched by Turkey against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Medya Defence Zones, protestors took to the streets in various European cities.
Protests were held in Germany, Belgium, Sweden, France and Switzerland.
They protested both the USA’s renewing of its promise of millions of dollars for any information leading to the capture of PKK members Murat Karayilan, Cemil Bayik and Duran Kalkan, and Turkey’s offensive on the Metina, Avaşin and Zap regions in Iraqi Kurdistan.
