Whilst tensions have continued to increase between Turkey and France regarding the murder of a French teacher, there have been protests against France in Turkey and in Turkish controlled regions in Syria.
A group waving Free Syrian Army (FSA) flags marched in Fatih district of Istanbul. They protested against the projection of cartoons about Muslim Prophet Mohammed on the facades of buildings in France. In photos and images that were shared on social media, it was evident that the police did not do anything to the protesters carrying the FSA flags.
