Police officers patrolling Şırnak (Şirnex) province in Turkey violently attacked 24-year-old Nurullah Çevik.
Police officers patrolling Yeni Mahalle avenue in Şırnak approached Çevik and informed him: “We will search you”. Çevik, who does not have any search warrant against him, reacted to their demand. He was subsequently brutally beaten by the police. He was rescued by passers-by who witnessed him being assaulted. The police then threatened them and demanded that they delete any videos they recorded of the incident.
