Footage of an incident in which police assaulted a teenage paper collector in Batman (Êlîh), Turkey, has emerged and been publicly released.
On 13 December, a teenage paper collector was subjected to police violence on Diyarbakır Avenue in Batman (Êlîh), where the governorship and Province Police departments are located.
The footage of the incident was recorded by citizens who witnessed the attack.
The police can be seen assaulting the teenager, hitting and battering him.
During the incident, the teenager said: “They have supposedly caught me. They always harrass me. Hang me by the neck. Enough is enough!”
The identity of the teenager remains unknown.
