Imprisoned Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan had expressed his views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in legal submissions to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
These submissions, handwritten from İmralı Island Prison, were later published in five volumes entitled “Manifesto for a Democratic Civilization“.
