As artillery attacks by Turkish forces and their proxies intensified on villages north of Hasakah in northeast Syria, a Syrian soldier, identified as Mahmoud al-Xerib, was killed in the shelling, Hawar News (ANHA) reported on Sunday.
In addition, four civilians were reported have been injured in villages north of the town of Abu Rasin (Zargan).
Three of the injured are a father, Mueyed Ebdullah, and his two children, five-year-old Teysîr Mueyed Ebdullah and seven-year-old Mihemed Mueyed Ebdullah.
The recent intensification of Turkish aggression in the area has been confirmed by Syrian state media, but they have not yet reported the death of a Syrian soldier in the Turkish attack.
