Twenty-two years have passed since Kurdistan Workers’ Party Leader Abdullah Öcalan was imprisoned by the Turkish state. The Kurds call the date of his imprisonment, 15 November 1999, the beginning of the “International Conspiracy” against Öcalan and the Kurdish freedom movement.
Kurdistan Communities Union Executive Committee Member Mustafa Karasu spoke to Medya Haber about the conspiracy against Öcalan and the ongoing attacks targeting the Kurdish movement.
“Both our leader and people continue to resist against attacks”, he said.
