Mesopotamia News Agency journalist Mehmet Aslan was detained after a raid at his home early this morning as part of an investigation that was initiated by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in Turkey.
Police searched Aslan’s house in İstanbul during a search that lasted for approximately one and a half hours.
Aslan’s digital materials and many magazines and books were reportedly seized.
He was held in reverse handcuffs after the search and taken to the Provincial Security Directorate.
