All across Rojhilat, or the Kurdistan region of Iran, people have gone on a general strike following Iranian attacks on Kurdish communities in Iraqi Kurdistan. Wednesday’s attack killed 14 and wounded 58.
Representatives of the People’s Democratic Party, as well as hundreds of other sympathisers, have gone to pay their respects to Hakan Arslan. Arslan’s father received his sons remains from a Turkish court, in a plastic bag in August, seven years after his son’s death.
In November, hundreds of women from a plethora of countries will go to Berlin to attend a conference organised by “Network Women Weaving the Future”.
