Newly unearthed parliamentary records reveal that Turkish President Erdoǧan has allowed over three million construction amnesties to proceed with unsafe building projects since 2018.
Governor of Turkish province claims that the situation is many times worst that the announced figures show, and additionally admits that the government response has been lacking.
Earthquake survivors in Turkey’s Adıyaman mourn the loss of loved ones, a region in which the death toll could not be determined clearly after the 6 February earthquakes due to the high number of undeclared burials.
Ahead of International Mother Language Day, the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) drew attention to Kurdish culture and warned about the weakening of the Kurdish language, while Turkey, in a video in which it thanked all countries in their own language for international aid provided after the 6 february earthquakes ignored aid provided by the Kurdistan Regional Government and did not include Kurdish.
