A video showing gas bombs allegedly used by the Turkish army in Northern Iraq, was released by the military branch Kurdistan Workers’ Party. This video follows other claims that Turkey uses chemical weapons against Kurdish fighters.
Guards opened fire on the inmates in a Tehran prison on Saturday, killing one prisoner and injuring 100 others, the clash broke out after inmates protested against the transfer of several death row prisoners to a separate section for execution.
“The Islamic State has re-emerged in northern Syria due to Turkey’s ongoing strikes targeting Kurdish groups. The jihadist fighters have organised eight different attacks in the last three weeks,” according to Syrian Democratic Forces spokesperson Ferhat Şami.
A Turkish police officer slapped the İstanbul branch chair of the pro-Kurdish People’s Democratic Party Ferhat Encü, during a justice vigil organised by relatives of prisoners, Artı Gerçek reported.
Turkish gendarmes have detained 144 illegal migrants; including 43 children and 41 women. The migrants, including a number of Iranian activists, are at being held at Ula Repatriation Centre in Muğla province.
