Syrian Democratic Forces’ Mazloum Abdi has warned that Kobane could be targeted in a ground operation by Turkey in February. The commander said that Turkish President Erdoğan could try to rally nationalist support ahead of elections by attacking the northeastern Kurdish-controlled town.
