Kurdish and women-led protests in Iran continue to rage on, with Iranian authorities cracking down on free press in response. Two female journalists who were key reporters on Jîna Mahsa Amini’s death, which sparked the protests, have been arrested, while other journalists in Iran report that they are under pressure to cut all contact with foreign correspondents.
The campaign to remove the PKK from the UK’s list of terror organisations continues, as Kurdish rights activist Mark Campbell has been charged under the UK’s anti-terror laws for holding a PKK flag at a peaceful march in London.
Jürgen Klute, a former member of the European Parliament said that while the European community is focused on the war in Ukraine, Turkey is committing war crimes.
