The French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche published a report on an investigation regarding İsmail Hakkı Musa, Turkey’s ambassador to Paris relating to his reported role in the killing of three female Kurdish politicians and activists, Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez in Paris in 2013.
In a report titled ‘The heavy secrets of İsmail Hakkı Musa, former Turkish ambassador in Paris’, Le Journal du Dimanche noted that “Ismail Hakki Musa, who left his post in Paris on Saturday, is suspected in a Belgian court document of having been the ‘coordinator’ of killers dispatched by Ankara’s secret services.
This raises suspicions about the role of Turkish agents in the assassination of three Kurdish activists in France in 2013, which is still under investigation despite the death of the main suspect”.
