Aryen Turan, a lawyer from the Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD) has been detained on 3 November as a result of her speech in the Ordinary General Assembly of İzmir Bar on 22 October, reported Mezopotamya Agency.
On 22 October, Aryen Turan made a speech in the General Assembly of İzmir Bar, in Turkey. She spoke about the sick prisoners and the alleged usage of chemical weapons by the Turkish army.
