The 30th Kurdish Culture Festival will take place on 17 September in Landgraaf city of the Netherlands.
The organisers of the annual Kurdish cultural festival, the Democratic Council of the Kurds in the Netherlands (DEM-NED) and the Commission on Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) have called for a strong participation in the festival.
The committee drew attention in a statement to the latest attempts of what they termed, the colonial Turkish state to invade and occupy Kurdistan.
The committe also called on the people of Kurdistan and their European friends to transform the festival into a field of resistance, solidarity and a national Kurdish cultural event.
On social media, the committee announced a long march to Landgraaf from Essen, Germany.
Kurds and European communities will express the diversity of all aspects of Kurdish culture, including literature, music, theatre, and cuisine during the festival.
Books, magazines, traditional clothes and other traditional items will also be available to participants at the festival.
Representatives of different religious groups, journalists, women movements and writers will be present at the festival.
The annual festival brings together the cultural, social and political expressions of the Kurdish community in Europe.
As a result of the latest oppressive changes in the policies of Germany, the festival has been moved to the Netherlands this year.
